Fit4Free's Tuna Veggie Dip with Crudites  

With Volunteer Chef Elizabeth

Special Guest Kelly Lynch attended this class to help the kids create a culinary masterpiece.

This recipe starts with chopped hardboiled eggs.

Next, the eggs are added to our chopped celery, grated carrots and fresh parsley.

The tuna comes next...

And it's all held together with a dab of mayonnaise.

The kids take turns mixing the ingredients into a creamy dip...

And meanwhile, the sliced veggies - also known as crudites - and whole wheat bread slices are arranged beautifully by our students on serving platters.

Kelly and the kids crowd around the finished masterpiece,

and then dive in!

A healthy and delicious high-protein snack, or meal, with a hearty dose of nutrient-rich vegetables.
